Finally completed the Dino shirt for JJ. Still have to sew the buttons on though but that will only take 15 minutes the most. I have some of this Dino fabric left, and I am already thinking of making a similar smaller size one for the little brother that’s coming along.
Next up PJ for little people, all handmade with love.
Babies in my life
I’m into my 16 weeks now, the nausea did not get any better sometimes worse.

And this week JJ started to walk more and each time he does his catwalk ( or rather drunken-baby-walk) down the hallway he will give himself a round of applause. This is really highlight of my long hard day. Watching JJ learning new skills and enjoying them.
And looking back at his 3 months old photo then I realized how far this little fella has come. A lot of times I really forgot how small JJ was when he was still a baby. But I’m starting to enjoy his toddler days and soon I’m going to have best of both worlds. Endless baby cuteness and a super hyper active toddler.

Little man learning to walk – Finally
JJ’s finally taking more than 3 steps in walking from the day he stood up to walk on A’s birthday on 25 Aug. In fact he is taking 5-10 steps at a time, but JJ tips toe while walking some of the time like a little ballerina. It’s really brilliant to watch a baby progress from crawling to standing up and learning how to walk. So JJ now is like a baby that took too much wine during dinner and walks like a little drunken man.
Kudos to awesome cuteness. I am so glad that all these baby cuteness or craziness will not end so soon as JJ progresses to be a terrible two toddler and a new baby is coming along to complete this motherhood process. Feel so blessed to have these darlings in my life.

Weekend at Ah Gong’s place
A is out of town for the weekend so I brought JJ to my parents place to stay for the weekend. And got my niece to stayover too to make it a play date for the JJ. So when at Ah Kong’s place there will be no rules at all. Kids watch tv all day and eat crackers on bed.
Kids get to play iPad whole day.
Adults get to eat knock out home made laksa. ( though its very unhealthy)
After all these playing and lazing round. You get a very tired baby that sleeps soundly through the night. Yeah!! to weekends at Ah Kong’s place. Hope we can do this more often when the brood grows.
Handmade things for little people
I have been busy for awhile and I have moved back to my parents’ place to stay for week since A is out stationed. Any help offered at this time is greatly appreciated as I feel tired and nausea all the time. Still I managed to make a toddler dress and is more than half way through for my toddler shirt.

Hopefully I will feel better and rest well in weeks to come and have more sewing projects for little people. Next up a PJ set for JJ.
Sleep train: We are having issues again
For the past 1 week JJ has not been sleeping well at night. Here’s his sleep pattern for the past 1 week. JJ goes to bed at 9pm and will sleep quite soundly till about 1130pm. Then he will start to flip and let out a small scream before going back to sleep. At 230 to 3 am, JJ will be constantly flipping, moving and making small noises. I will try to put him in a comfortable sleeping position and pat him to sleep. This whole flipping, me putting him to sleeping position and patting him to sleep sequence could repeat at least 4-5 times till about 430 am. JJ will then sleep soundly from 430 am to 6 am. I feed him milk at 6 am and JJ will quickly go to sleep after that till 9 am.
This has been going on for a week and I’m really very tired trying to take care of him at night and going to work the next day. I’m having a huge sleep debt and to top it off I’m constantly in nausea state. Hope JJ sleeping pattern will get better soon.
Happy Birthday A
It’s A’s birthday on Sunday. And I got a cake from Breadtalk that is plain with no decorations and allows me to do my own decorations. Well I have to say you need steady hands to be a cake chief.
And today JJ walked few steps on his own without any support after exactly 14 months. He got so excited and started clapping for himself. Tiny steps but huge achievements.
I’m so tired
It has been a terrible week for me. Feeling nausea, tired, aching and sleepy by 6 pm on most evenings. To top it all JJ required special care after the circumcision. Thank god it’s Thursday tomorrow and let’s hope for better and less nausea days ahead. Good night all.
